$179900 / 3br - 1500ft² - New kitchen, new deck, new bathroom, new floors, everything new! (Badger Rd/North Pole)

Enjoy peace and quiet living on all the land you'll ever want. This house sits on 5.16 acres of GU-1 land bordering even more untouched wilderness. The area is quiet, and you can't even see any neighboring houses from the house. This privacy is not made at the expense of a long commute. The house is only 12 minutes from Airport Road, and less than 5 minutes from Fort Wainwright.

Even better than the land is the 1,500 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with arctic entry and office. The entire house was remodeled over the summer so almost everything inside is brand new. The kitchen features new hickory cabinets. Both bathrooms have brand new extra deep bathtubs. There is brand new carpeting in both the upstairs bedrooms and new genuine Pergo laminate flooring in the office, kitchen, bathroom and hallway. Every wall and ceiling in the entire house is freshly painted. The windows, doors and baseboards are trimmed with beautiful new wood. A woodstove in the living room will help reduce your fuel bill. Work on the house was more than skin deep. Extensive upgrades were made to the home electrical and plumbing systems. The remodel work didn't stop inside either. Enjoy the giant deck in the front of the house and admire the beauty and security of new vinyl siding, exterior trim and a freshly refurbished sheet metal roof. This house would be ideal for hunting, shooting and snowmobiling enthusiasts. There are trails directly behind the house and the backyard makes an ideal rifle range. You can watch moose and fox from the kitchen windows.

Call Andrew at (907) eight eight eight - seven two seven nine or email me at ajvanatta at gmail.com for more information or to come see the house.

CDL Bus Driver/ Guide with passenger endorsement (Denali Park/Healy , Alaska)

Thank you for your interest in us!

We have a great summer Business in the Heart Of Alaska and we are looking for a great person to join us!

All of our position earn tips as well as are scheduled for 40 hours a week. Overtime is available but never required. Also this position earns tips.

Our ideal start date is between May 9th and May
20th-and end date is September 10th -- 15th, 2013. You must be 21 or older by June 1st, 2013 to work for us and have a positive can do attitude and be looking for a great adventure!

WHAT WE DO:

My name is Marilyn Usibelli. I own and run Black Diamond Resort
Co. We have been in business since 1995 and continue to grow and improve
Our operations each season. We have a fantastic place located 10 miles from
The Denali National Park Entrance. We have a very unique and fun business
And are looking for adventurous, motivated people to join our team. We hire
Approximately 55 people each summer. We have a 70 seat fast paced
Restaurant, a 9 hole golf course, 18 hole mini golf course, a horse drawn
Covered wagon ride, and guided ATV tours. We have a very exciting business
With a great working environment! If you are looking for a fun summer job, we are the right place!

HOW WE GOT STARTED:

In 1995 my sister and I each had $2500 and a bunch of Land. We decided to
Build a driving range. With the help of our parents, the next year, we
Opened 5 golf holes and we had an "on your honor can" to pay $12! The year
After that we purchased a building
And we had no electricity or running water.... Can you believe that! The
Year after that we got electric, water, and opened our first restaurant with
A Coleman stove and an outside barbecue grill! Today, we have a beautiful
70 seat restaurant and we are one of the only restaurants for 100 miles that gets in
Fresh Alaskan Fish! We love to grow our own herbs and search high and low
For the Best available produce! We have a 9 hole golf course now, ATV
Tours, and Also a Draft Horse Drawn Covered Wagon Tour. Last season we had over 40000
People come through our doors! It has been an unbelievable adventure for us!
We are still just a little family run business though which has it's
Benefits and of course its weaknesses.

OUR BIGGEST WEAKNESS:

Probably the biggest weakness is we Live and work in a very remote environment. What this means for us is that we have to work with what we have and sometimes this can be a challenge. It also has been a challenge for us to hire enough staff so that is generally
Where our hardships lye. One thing that I find challenging is that in addition operating our business we provide a limited amount of housing. It can be difficult having people live and work together and the housing is not fancy by anyone's standards. That is specifically why we look so hard to find Mature, motivated staff to work with us!

OUR STYLE:

We have a very simple system where each person is assigned duties and then we
Basically expect it to happen. We check in on you a bit but we try to hire
People who have great talent, (and basically don't need to be monitored), are
Easy to work with and can work as a team. So far this has been very
Successful for us. We have So many jobs and we can often train our staff
In many areas so the summer Is full of variety and fun. We generally do not hire anyone for a specific position we are looking for multitalented people who are flexible, positive, and simply fun to be around. Is that you? If so please keep reading!

Because we are a seasonal business, we don't offer a lot of
Advancement. I hope this doesn't discourage you though. Almost all of the
Employees that have come through Black Diamond tell me how different and
Refreshing it was to work with us. No matter how experienced I think you
Can gain something wonderful from working for us. We do not offer bonuses
But we do have Incentives to do a great job and we have a lot of returning
Second, third, forth, fifth year staff to help with the transition for a new job and we have
Other perks.

With us being a seasonal business we pretty much just break even every year and all of our profits either go back into our business to fix, maintain, or improve things or we donate as much as we can, sometimes more than we can to local charities so even though we are not a high profit company I think we are a great company and our fantastic, talented staff is proud to work with us. Also even though our wages are not the highest we certainly provide a great environment and a lot of customers so our staff earns a good amount of tips and meets wonderful people from all over the world. This is not a carer job and was never intended to be one just a fun summer job in a remote beautiful location. Other than the $10 (which includes rent, all utilities, limited food, Internet, free laundry, dish network, garbage, propane, water) a day there really are not a lot of other expenses for living in our camp and it can be very fun and pretty inexpensive too. In addition we do several fun events for our staff such as our annual Beginning of season social, 4th of July Parade and barbeque with fireworks, Christmas Party, Trip into Denali National Park, End of season party.

To some up what I have:

WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER:

In a Nut Shell:
-You have a lot of creative leeway to make the job fit your personality
-You are trusted as an individual and given respect
-We are always open to new suggestions to improve and try very hard to be a
Place you can make a positive difference
-a lot of our positions earn tips
-Housing is inexpensive, close to our business and a lot of The activities To do are free
-This is a position that is a lot of hard work but is very rewarding and Fun!
-Overtime is not required and is not available very often if at all.

After Work Benefits:
Some benefits we offer: Job performance incentives given throughout the
Season, inexpensive housing, free golf, mini
Golf, covered wagon rides, atv tours, beginning, mid and end of season party; also our
Employees get to go white water rafting for free, as well as
flight seeing, fishing, 4-wheeling, and other local activities. We offer gift
certificates for a wide range of things for good attendance, customer
service, and things of that nature. We are a completely non-smoking
facility.

WE NEED YOU!
We hire a multitude of positions and offer great flexibility in scheduling
and job opportunities. We do a lot of training with our staff and we have
both full and part time positions and look for individuals who are willing
to do whatever is necessary to give our guests an outstanding adventure!

Our jobs are challenging and require a great deal of energy and devotion.
We serve a fixed menu that has fresh Alaskan Seafood, Great Steaks, Gourmet
Burgers, and fun and exciting nightly specials. We have been listed in
Alaska's Best Magazine and Fromers as Alaska's best find for our restaurant.
We are a friendly place, and pride ourselves on providing the best
Experience possible to all of our guest. We need self motivated individuals
That have a high team player ethic and love people and adventure!

OUR OPERATING DATES:

Our positions begin on May 1st and end September 20th. We hire a limited
Amount of part time positions and positions that start or end before these
Date. For J1 visa students, we are looking for individuals who can work May
15th to Sept 15th. However we can consider your application if you can
begin work on or before June 1st. June 1st is the latest date for your start
date and the earlier you can start the more likely we can offer you a
position.

HOUSING:

We have an employee housing facility that is walking distance to work. It
is set back away from the daily operation so you have an area that is
private from the hustle and bustle of the business. Our facility consists
of 14 mobile homes that we rent each room for $10 per day
per person plus this includes all utilities and some supplies. These are single and double rooms that 1 to 2 person stays in. There are 2 to 4 people per mobile home and each are set
up differently. If you prefer to live alone our housing is not for you! If you do not think it will be nice enough for you we totally understand and you do not have to live in our housing to work for us. Part of what we have to offer is a great place to live and work with your co-workers that is inexpensive for the area. You can share a room with someone in the housing if you would like. Several of the rooms are very large and a couple or two to three friends could easily share one room if desired and we did
have a group of friends last season that shared even more. The cost is still the same. We are very flexible here. We have a nice common area with some additional activities
available and a place to simply hang out and relax after work. We offer housing for a good price. It is not mandatory for you to stay in our housing and we encourage people look for their own place if they have special requests or pets. We also offer places to camp or park campers or RV's and that is $6 per day for utilities and rent of the space. In addition to our onsite housing, there are also apartment rentals. These are much more expensive ($800 per month plus utilities) and are 3 miles from Black Diamond. We do not provide transportation to this facility so
you will need a car. If you are interested in this option please let me know
and I can give you more information. Rent and Utilities are deducted from your paycheck and are due at the first of the month. You can also pay it with cash or a check.

TRANSPORTATION:

The housing is located very close and is walking distance but it is much
much nicer to have a car to get
around Alaska in. Some people buy cheap cars if they
fly into Anchorage, some ride a bike to work, while others simply walk. You can also drive here from the lower 48 states and that is an adventure in itself! Believe it or not a lot of people drive and I have done it about 20 times and love
it! There is transportation to Fairbanks occasionally and also to and from
the park area every day. We are located 250 miles North of Anchorage or 110 miles South of Fairbanks. You can take the train or a van shuttle to Healy, Alaska to get to Black Diamond Resort Co.

YOUR NEXT STEP:

To consider your application, I need the following information:

#1. Start and End Date

Please Be Aware, we are looking for:

-Self Motivated, mature, fun loving People
-Adventurous people looking or a fun summer job
-Must be friendly and like to talk to people
-Must have a positive outlook and be an asset to our team
-Must come with at least $300.
-Because we are only a summer seasonal business, This is not a high paying job and is very much just for the experience
-You must be 21 years or older to work for us due to liquor license laws and insurance requirements
-You must be able to start work by June 1st
-Must be flexible about what days you work, what schedule, and job duties for the day

If you need housing:
-You must be willing to live in a mobile home with other housemates, there are no exceptions to paying rent and utilities
-You cannot have a pet in our onsite housing
-I can't stress enough how important it is that you are looking to live with
others and experience a great Alaskan Camp style environment
-Our housing is what you make of it! If you keep your home clean and well taken care of they are very nice places to live.

OUR TOWN:

We are located in Healy, Alaska right next to Denali National Park. We live
and work in one of the smallest towns you'll probably ever come to.
I think this is a very important thing to consider when deciding where to
work. Your happiness at a job is important and what you have available to
do when you are not working contributes to your experience at Black Diamond.
If you are a big city person or are looking for a large city American
experience, we are not the place for you. Our business is surrounded by
nature and there are so many things to do if you like the outdoors and what
it has to offer. There is a bank although we direct deposit paychecks
into any bank and there are ATM machines, there are no movie theaters but we
do offer TV, there are only a few bars in the area and one is
actually pretty good with live music several times a week, we are located
about 10 miles from the Denali Park area where there are a handful of shops,
cafes, and stores. You can get to this area all day and evening by our
shuttles that go every hour. There is one small grocery/liquor store, a
post office, a small community library, a small community gym, softball
field, and a few other small businesses. That is generally about it. Our
staff does get a chance to ride to Fairbanks occasionally which is a larger town.
Basically, you will be living and working in wildlife country! It is a
Wonderful and challenging experience if this is what you are looking for!
